MISSION

Defining the precision standard for prostate cancer care

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is a pleasure to announce a truly global consensus meeting including key opinion leaders from all over the world brought together to discuss and evaluate recommendations in Prostate Cancer care. Surgical guidelines rely on published evidence that may lack evolving concepts and techniques. The CONCEPT-PCa 2027 Global Consensus Conference employs a rigorous modified Delphi process, combining the best available literature with structured expert opinion from a geographically diverse, multidisciplinary panel.

Through 18 specialized scientific committees spanning uro-oncology, radiation oncology, medical oncology, imaging, and patient-reported outcomes, this conference will produce actionable, pragmatic guidelines for patients with varied disease phenotypes, specific risk factors, and predisposition to therapeutic complications. Each committee will apply a PICOS-based scoping or systematic review, combined with a modified Delphi process for clinical scenarios lacking published evidence — spanning the complete prostate cancer care continuum to be submitted for publication in a high impact medical journal.

Invited Participants Include:

  • Global key opinion leaders in the field of Prostate Cancer
  • Fellows and young researchers in the field
  • Representatives from companies and foundations seeking to provide evidence-based treatment options for Prostate Cancer
  • Patient support group for patient-reported outcomes development.

Consensus Development
Modified Delphi process applied to scoping and systematic reviews across 18 scientific committess, with structured discussion at the in-person meeting.
Clinical Scope
Screening through survivorship — screening, diagnosis, prognostication, therapeutic indications, techniques, PROs, and complication mitigation.
Research Agenda
Identification of major unanswered clinical questions and establishment of an international research agenda, including optimized collaborative trial design.
Publication
A special issue in a high impact medical journal to follow the conference.
